The 7 Best AI Video Translation Tools for GTM Teams

AI video translation tools can significantly speed up the process of creating videos for prospects, leads, and customers in multiple languages.

Whether you're looking to translate the videos you use for prospecting, onboarding, marketing, or customer support, one of the AI video translation tools on this list will help you do so faster and easier than ever.

Using Sendspark for video prospecting in multiple languages

Sendspark lets you take a single video and turn it into personalized videos for dozens, hundreds, or thousands of prospects. Each video includes a personalized logo, background, and name — our AI turns a placeholder word in your video into the first name of every prospect on your list.

We recently released a new language personalization feature that makes it easier than ever to do video prospecting at scale in multiple languages. Now, first names are pronounced properly for every language — and in the right accent.

Here's how it works:

When you're creating the video you want to personalize at scale, you'll speak your greeting and the word "watermelon" in the same language that the rest of your video is in:

For videos in English, say "Hey Watermelon," in Spanish, say "Hola Manzana," in German, say "Hallo Wassermelone," and so on.

Once you finish recording your video, select the language you were speaking:

After that, the names of the prospects in your list will be pronounced correctly — and in the appropriate accent — for the language you were speaking in the video.

And when you need a fallback because you're creating a video for a prospect you don't have a first name for, Sendspark will use the appropriate language and accent for your fallback, too; in English, this would typically be "Hey there."

With this addition to our platform, Sendspark is now AI for everyone!

Whether you're reaching out to prospects, leads, and customers in the U.S., Germany, Portugal, Mexico, or France — or all of the above if you're an international company — Sendspark enables you to create personalized videos at scale that will drive better outcomes than ever before.

The 7 best AI video translation tools for GTM teams

AI video translation tools are great for taking one video and translating it into multiple languages, saving you from having to create the same video multiple times in different languages (and maybe even some languages you don't speak).

But none of the tools below allow you to translate your videos and personalize them at scale.

So if you're looking to create videos in multiple languages that you're planning to send to multiple prospects, leads, or customers, we recommend combining the translation capabilities of the tools below with the personalization at scale that Sendspark provides.

Here's how it works:

  • Upload your video to one of the tools below to translate it into the languages you need.
  • Once that's complete, upload your translated videos to Sendspark.
  • Create an introduction for your video where you speak your greeting and the word "watermelon" in the appropriate language, and use Sendspark to easily combine that intro with your full, translated video.
  • Select the language your video uses and upload your list of prospects, leads, or customers, and Sendspark will create as many personalized videos as you need for your marketing, prospecting, or customer success campaign.

Here are the seven best AI video translation tools that you can combine with Sendspark to generate personalized videos at scale in as many languages as you need them in.

1. HeyGen – Best overall AI video translation tool

HeyGen's AI clones your natural speaking voice and style and then uses that clone to translate your videos into other languages. You can use HeyGen to translate videos into more than 40 languages, including Spanish, English, German, Japanese, French, Korean, and Italian.

If you're worried about AI translating incorrectly, you can have HeyGen translate your script first. This gives you the opportunity to proofread the translated script before your videos are created to make sure what you say in the translated video makes sense in the new language.

HeyGen can even translate videos with multiple speakers into other languages, so if you have a long list of webinar or podcast videos, you can use HeyGen to translate those as well so they look like they were originally recorded in the language you selected.

HeyGen's voice cloning and dubbing features are far better than any of the other tools on this list, so this is the tool we recommend the most for combining it with Sendspark to make personalized videos where you're speaking directly to the camera.

The personalized intro you create in Sendspark combined with the template video you translated in HeyGen will make it feel like you created all of your videos specifically for each of the prospects, leads, and customers you send videos to.

Pricing

Video translations are only available on HeyGen's Team and Enterprise plans. The Team plan that includes translations starts at $69 per seat per month. However, for access to the script proofreading feature, you'll need to be on the Enterprise plan. Pricing for that plan is not publicly available.

2. Rask – Best for translating demo videos

Rask is a bit less expensive than HeyGen, but the lower price comes at a cost — its dubbing features aren't nearly as good — the movement of your mouth won't quite align with the words you're speaking in other languages.

However, its voice cloning feature actually works really well to make it sound like you're speaking those other languages in your own voice.

For this reason, we recommend using Rask combined with Sendspark for short demo videos where you don't show your face. You can create a personalized introduction with Sendspark that shows your face, then stitch that video with your translated demo video from Rask.

The outcome is that it will sound like you are speaking through the rest of the video, and since your face isn't shown in the demo itself, viewers won't realize that you're not actually talking during the product demo portion of the video.

Pricing

Rask's pricing starts at $50 per month for up to 25 minutes of translation. While the platform supports 135 languages, voice cloning is only available in 29 languages. Script proofreading is also available in all of Rask's plans at no additional cost.

3. Vidnoz – Best low-cost option

Vidnoz translates your videos into 140+ languages and uses voice cloning and dubbing to make it look and sound like you were speaking those languages. Interestingly, it has the opposite problem as Rask — its dubbing actually looks pretty good, but the voice cloning isn't quite as strong.

Here's a video we created with Vidnoz so you can see what we mean, and here's the original to compare it to. The translated voice just doesn't quite sound like the original.

However, combined with Sendspark, we think it's a good low-cost option to consider for personalized videos that are reasonably believable as created by you. The difference in the voice isn't so stark that a prospect would immediately notice it if you had a conversation with them later.

Here's what we'd recommend for using Sendspark with Vidnoz: make sure the video you upload to Vidnoz for translation includes the "Hey watermelon" introduction you need for Sendspark to work. That way you won't have an introduction in a different voice than the rest of your video, and when it's personalized by Sendspark, it will all flow seamlessly together.

Pricing

Vidnoz offers a fairly limited free plan that lets you translate up to one minute of video per day. To translate longer videos, you can upgrade to the Starter plan, which starts at $19.99 per month.

4. Vimeo – Best for translating videos you plan to publish online

If you're planning to publish your video on your website or help center, Vimeo has a translation feature that will let you cater to visitors who speak any one of 29 different languages.

Vimeo uses voice cloning to make it sound like you're speaking in the languages your video is available in. The dubbing leaves a lot to be desired — your mouth won't move properly for the words you're speaking in another language — but the point of this use case is more accessibility to a global audience than perfection.

Once you embed the video, viewers can choose to watch it in the other languages you made available through Vimeo's settings menu.

Vimeo's translation capabilities can be combined with Sendspark as part of full-funnel outbound campaigns. You can create personalized videos in Sendspark to send to prospects individually, and then run retargeting ads to prospects who engage, pointing them to landing pages in their native languages.

Just translate the copy on the landing page and default your Vimeo video to the appropriate language to create a full-funnel prospecting strategy you can use to get your product in front of target prospects all over the world.

Pricing

Vimeo's AI translation features are only available on its Enterprise plan, and pricing is not publicly available for that plan. You'll have to get a demo with their team for pricing information.

5. Wavel AI – Best for translating voiceover videos

If the videos you need to translate only have voiceover — no one is actively speaking to the camera — Wavel AI is a great, low-cost option.

Wavel AI doesn't clone your voice like some of the other tools on this list. Instead, it allows you to choose from 250+ AI voices to use across more than 30 languages. Your translated videos won't sound like they're spoken by the same speaker as the original, but they will sound natural in the language you're translating them into.

While Wavel does have a dubbing feature, the translated video it produces is pretty clearly dubbed and doesn't use the speaker's own voice (see the example below).

Because of that limitation, we recommend Wavel AI only for things like marketing and customer success videos that use voiceover without someone speaking directly to the screen so your videos don't feel unnatural and non-personalized for the recipient.

Similar to Vimeo, Wavel AI is a good option for full-funnel campaigns where you prospect using individual, personalized videos created in Sendspark and then create landing pages with translated voiceover videos that you can point to from retargeting ads.

Pricing

Wavel has a free plan that lets you translate videos of up to two minutes in length. To get rid of the two-minute video limitation, you can upgrade to the Basic plan that starts at $18 per month.

6. Smartcat – Best for teams that don't speak directly to customers

Best for teams that don't speak directly to customers.

Smartcat takes your original video and translates it into 280 different languages, but the translated videos will use one of Smartcat's AI voices rather than your own voice.

If you're an email-only SDR or in another role where you hand off conversations with prospects without ever speaking to them yourself, this can be a decent option. It doesn't really matter if the videos aren't in your voice because no one would ever know if you didn't speak to them directly.

This could work really well with Sendspark if you add the "Hey Watermelon" introduction directly to the video you upload to Smartcat. That way, the translated videos will have the verbiage you need to later personalize those videos in Sendspark.

Once you have all of your translated videos, you can just upload them to Sendpark along with a list of prospects to create all of the personalized videos you need in all of the languages you need them in.

Pricing

Smartcat's pricing starts at $99 per month and includes unlimited languages for up to 150k Smartwords per year.

7. ElevenLabs – Best for creating perfectly dubbed videos

ElevenLabs translates videos using voice clones and dubbing, but unlike the other tools, it gives you a lot more control over the finished product.

Instead of just living with a poorly-dubbed version of your video, you get access to controls to fine-tune the settings and sync up the video and audio. You can also adjust settings like stability, similarity, and style to get the perfect inflections in your translated speech.

ElevenLabs can also be used to translate videos with multiple speakers, making it easy to translate webinars, customer interviews, and podcasts into multiple languages.

If you're the kind of person who would rather tinker with something to get it perfect than have to live with something that's passable, ElevenLabs is probably the right choice for you.

And once you're finished tinkering, you can add the video to Sendspark to turn your perfect video into as many perfectly personalized videos as you need.

Pricing

ElevenLabs has a free plan that includes 10k credits; however, to use the tool for commercial purposes, you'll need to be on one of their paid plans that start at $5 per month.

Choosing the right tool for your use case

Some of the tools on this list are cheaper but provide less customization and lower quality, while others are more expensive but are highly customizable and produce quality results. Either of the two can work — it just depends on your use cases and goals for translating videos.

If you're planning to send translated videos to prospects as part of an outbound campaign or to customers as part of your customer success/account management strategy, we highly recommend opting for a tool like HeyGen or ElevenLabs.

Personalized prospecting, success, and onboarding videos work because they're personalized, and nothing says "We didn't personalize this" like a poorly dubbed translation.

HeyGen is pricier but will help you create believably dubbed videos quickly, while ElevenLabs is less expensive but will require more work on your part to get the dubbing right.

You can also get away with using Rask to sound like yourself when you're demoing but not appearing on camera to avoid the dubbing issue altogether, or you can opt for Smartcat if it doesn't matter if the translation sounds like you or not.

Finally, for marketing campaigns where you have a person speaking directly to the camera, the higher-priced Vimeo is probably the best option. But if you just have voiceover, you can get away with Wavel AI because you don't have to worry about voice cloning or dubbing.

Once you've found the perfect fit for your needs, requirements, and use case, you can upload your video to Sendspark to turn your translated video into personalized videos for all of your prospects, leads, and customers.
